Position Overview: The Specialist, Clinical Application manages the clinical implementation and ongoing evaluation of the Organ Allocation Information System (OAIS), ensuring it meets the needs of TGLN and external users. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical requirements/enhancements, aligning workflows, coordinating UAT, developing educational materials, and resolving clinical concerns related to OAIS.

Positions Available: 2 (1 permanent full-time, 1 full-time contract).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as SME and primary contact for end-users of OAIS.
  • Gather and review business requirements and workflows.
  • Develop system design recommendations, including UI for patient registration and organ allocation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address challenges and optimize workflows.
  • Lead testing, manage change processes, and ensure requirements are met.
  • Coordinate with IT vendors and manage stakeholder communications.
  • Develop training and support materials and monitor system performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a health discipline (e.g., BScN, Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration).
  • Minimum five years’ experience in organ donation/transplantation or equivalent.
  • Experience in developing educational materials, project management, change management, and working with IT vendors.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of TOTAL and iTransplant preferred.

Location: Ontario (hybrid; subject to change).

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time.
