Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini, a premier Canadian hospitality group, is seeking a Sous Chef for a chic Blue Mountain eatery in the Westin Trillium House. You will lead cooks, recruit and train staff, and drive a high-standard dining experience across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.

Qualifications

• Previous Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience in a similar environment.
• Passion for food & culinary excellence.
• High integrity, discipline and vision.
• Ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff.
• Excellent communication across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Communicates the restaurant's vision to the team and leads by example.
• Monitors kitchen operations and cleanliness.
• Builds relationships with team and FOH management.
• Follows ordering, inventory and receiving procedures.
• Leads in creating a culture focused on the dining experience.
• Recruits, trains and develops staff; coaches performance.
• Uses conflict resolution and problem solving in daily operations.
• Other duties as assigned.
