Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Alexa International team to lead partner integrations across the Americas, with a focus on Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. The role combines deep technical delivery with strategic influence and requires bilingual fluency.

You will design end-to-end integration solutions, collaborate with partner engineering and product teams, and build reference architectures and onboarding playbooks to scale the program beyond 1:1 engagements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience.
• Must be fluent in English plus one of the following (Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Canadian French).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver end-to-end partner integration solutions leveraging modern protocols and agentic patterns (e.g., MCP, tool-calling, REST), ensuring experiences feel native to Alexa+ while respecting partner brand and capabilities.
• Work hands-on with partners to assess technical readiness, architect solutions across the full stack — from backend services and API design to front-end rendering — and troubleshoot complex integration challenges across multiple device surfaces.
• Work with internal engineering teams to test and deploy software packages required to onboard partners to Alexa+.
• Exercise strong judgment in ambiguous technical situations, determining appropriate solution strategies and making clear trade-off recommendations (e.g., partial vs. full E2E integration, link-out vs. native rendering).
• Create reusable integration patterns, technical documentation, and onboarding playbooks that accelerate future partner launches and reduce hands-on SA effort over time.
• Develop reference architectures that leverage horizontal capabilities to address common partner needs across categories.
• Own technical relationships with partner engineering and product teams, guiding integrations from commitment through launch.
• Collaborate with product leadership during early capability formation, directly shaping the roadmap based on real partner integration learnings.
