Job summary

Symbiotic Digital in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Solution Designer to provide senior-level technical leadership, solution architecture, and design guidance for a modern Registration and Permit Management System.

You will work with Dynamics CRM, MuleSoft, Java/React, and align with enterprise standards while collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions that meet public and staff needs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining architecture for large, complex CRM systems.
• Proven ability to deliver business architecture, business analysis, and system analysis.
• Hands-on experience with XSLT, XQuery, XPath and transformation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain end-to-end solution design for Registration/Permit workflows.
• Integrate public portal with CRM via MuleSoft, ensuring security, data flows, and performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, developers, and vendors throughout delivery.

Job description

Downtown Toronto (Ryerson), Canada

The Senior Solution Designer will provide senior-leveltechnical leadership, solution architecture, and design guidance for thedevelopment and implementation of a modern online Registration and PermitManagement System supporting both external/public users and internal staff.

The solution consists of:

• MicrosoftDynamics CRM as the back-office platform supporting staff andRegistration/Permit business processes.
• MuleSoft as the middleware and integration layer between the back-office solution and external-facing applications and services.
• Java/React as the technology stack for the public-facing online portal.

The Senior Solution Designer will be responsible for defining and maintaining the end-to-end solution design, with particular emphasis on Registration and Permit workflows, integration between the public portal and Microsoft Dynamics CRM through MuleSoft, application architecture,data flows, security, performance, scalability, and alignment with enterprisearchitecture and technology standards.

The position will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, business analysts, product/project management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, testing, and vendor teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.

This is an onsite position, with the resource expected to work onsite Monday through Friday during standard working hours of 8:00 AM to5:00 PM, excluding lunch breaks.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Core Skills and Experience - 40%

• Atleast 10 years of experience in the design, development, implementation,and maintenance of large, complex Oracle Siebel, IBM Curam, Dynamics, orother COTS CRM systems.
• Atleast 10 years of experience in J2EE integration with systems such asOracle Siebel, IBM Curam, or other COTS systems.
• Demonstratedexperience and knowledge in delivering business architecture, businessanalysis, and system analysis.
• Demonstratedexperience with and understanding of J2EE architecture.

Technical Skills and Experience - 35%

• Experienceexecuting tasks involving XSLT, XQuery, XPath, and transformationcapabilities, including hands-on experience with Oxygen XSLT IDE oranother XSLT IDE for creating and debugging XSL.
• Experiencedesigning detailed functional and technical requirements for new andexisting business solutions.
• Workingknowledge of analyzing and designing changes to existing web-basedsoftware solutions.
• Workingknowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Agile development.
