VGS is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, scale, and fortify global, high-throughput payment systems. You will own critical Value-Added Services including Network Tokens, Account Updater, 3DS, and Account Validation, delivering secure and low-latency transactions.

You will work with Tech Leads and product teams to implement AI-native methods, mentor engineers, and raise code quality while deploying reliable cloud-native solutions across the stack.

Formación

• 5+ years in software engineering with ownership of features in distributed systems.
• Strong Java and Spring/Spring Boot, REST API design experience.
• Experience with high-throughput payments or similar platforms is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and optimize high-availability, low-latency Java microservices.
• Integrate AI-native development tools into the SDLC and automate workflows.
• Create automated, self-healing services with GitOps and CI/CD.
• Configure telemetry (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor engineers and promote code quality, testing, and security best practices.
• Own service functionality end-to-end for external customer traffic with strong reliability.
