Job summary

VGS is seeking a skilled Solutions Architect to join our remote-first team. You will translate complex payment challenges into secure, scalable architectures and work with prospects to earn CTO trust, mapping payment flows and guiding implementations.

In this role you’ll influence product strategy, create reference architectures, and collaborate with sales, product, and engineering to deliver value across global payment ecosystems. Strong communication and coding skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in solutions architecture or related roles.
• Experience with multi-PSP and payment orchestration.
• Background at a merchant, PSP, processor, or payment infra company.
• Knowledge of PCI DSS, data security, privacy, and compliance.
• Proficiency with web services and APIs; full-stack development.
• Excellent communication and ability to present complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Discovery & Solution Architecture: clarify goals, requirements, risks and gaps with stakeholders.
• Deal Support & Delivery: lead strategy, diagrams, demos, and proofs of concept.
• Product Influence & Enablement: feed back to roadmap and create enablement assets.
• Collaborate with customer engineers on APIs, data models, and integrations.
