Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a skilled Oracle database developer to design, implement, and maintain SQL/PLSQL solutions for core business transactions. You will work with stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data-layer changes and support production incidents.

The role emphasizes performance tuning, code quality, and full lifecycle development within an Agile environment. A hybrid work setup and collaboration with cross-functional teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience creating and maintaining stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience troubleshooting application and database issues, including production support and incident resolution.
• Experience with application and database performance monitoring, analysis, and tuning.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, development, testing, debugging, documentation, deployment, and post-production support.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and existing application logic and develop effective technical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and solve complex technical problems.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues clearly and collaborate with business and technology partners.

Required Qualifications

Compensation

Salary Range: CAD $98,000 – $120,000. Compensation may vary depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location
