Job summary

Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a senior software engineer to own the end-to-end delivery of features for the IAM Identity Center service.

You will design scalable, high-availability APIs and drive architectural decisions across distributed teams. You will mentor engineers, participate in design reviews, and raise the quality bar for reliability and security while building systems used by millions of AWS customers daily.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one software language.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver features end-to-end across the IAM Identity Center service.
• Design and build scalable, highly available APIs serving millions of requests per day.
• Drive technical decisions, produce design docs, and lead reviews.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, improve reliability, automate where possible.
• Mentor junior engineers, provide code reviews, raise team quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with partner teams to deliver integrated experiences.
