Job summary

US-based technology company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the customer-facing experience of its cloud platform. You will work across frontend and backend systems to build dashboards, fleet management tools, and troubleshooting workflows used by enterprise customers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex product problems and collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering. Hybrid work model: 3 days onsite, 2 remote; Canadian work authorization required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and authentication systems.
• Experience with modern frontend testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build highly performant, intuitive dashboards for enterprise users managing connected equipment and sensor fleets.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to turn complex requirements into clear, effective user experiences.
• Develop dashboards, charts, and filtered views for sensor telemetry, alerts, and operational trends.
• Build topology visualizations and administrative dashboards for managing complex customer organizations.
• Unify gateway management and sensor data workflows so customers can manage fleets and troubleshoot issues in one experience.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development of React components, GraphQL queries, tests, and other engineering work.
• Improve application reliability, observability, performance, and operational efficiency.
• Work across frontend and backend integration points, including APIs, authentication, and cloud services.

A US-based technology company is building industrial IoT and connectivity solutions that connect physical equipment to cloud and enterprise systems. Its hardware and software products support applications including remote monitoring, asset tracking, predictive maintenance, and industrial automation across a range of connectivity technologies.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to own the customer-facing experience of the company's cloud platform. You'll work across frontend and backend systems to build intuitive dashboards, fleet management tools, and troubleshooting workflows used by enterprise customers. This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex product problems and working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering.

This would be hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 remote and you should have full right to work in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build highly performant, intuitive dashboards for enterprise users managing connected equipment and sensor fleets.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to turn complex requirements into clear, effective user experiences.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong frontend development experience.
• Deep experience with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Redux, Vite, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Playwright, Jest, Vitest, or Cypress.
• Experience with .NET / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, gRPC, and GraphQL.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with GraphQL, REST APIs, and authentication systems.
• Experience with Docker, containerized applications, and modern CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with observability platforms and frontend performance optimization.
• Proven ability to use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude to improve development speed, testing, and code quality.
• Strong cross-functional communication and the ability to work effectively with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams.
