Job summary

USA Tech Recruit is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a Toronto-based team for a mostly onsite role (3 days onsite). You will work across full-stack frontend and backend, delivering scalable web applications and dashboards for telemetry and monitoring.

You will collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to translate requirements into robust features using React, GraphQL, .NET Core, and Azure services, with a focus on performance, reliability, and observability.

Qualifications

• Very experienced in software engineering with a strong emphasis on scalable architectures.
• Strong experience with modern frontend technologies: React, GraphQL, Redux, Vite, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience across testing frameworks (Playwright, Jest, Cypress).
• Expertise in .NET / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, gRPC and GraphQL
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, specifically Azure App Service, Azure AD B2C / Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL, and Azure Key Vault.
• Solid knowledge of backend integration points, particularly interacting with GraphQL, REST APIs, and authentication flows.

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
• Provide dashboards, charts, and filtered views for sensor telemetry and alert trends to support end-to-end solution monitoring.
• Develop detailed topology visualisation and cross-org super-admin dashboards.
• Unify gateway management and sensor data experiences so customers can move between fleet operations and troubleshooting in a single workflow.
• Utilize AI-assisted coworker tools to rapidly generate React components, GraphQL queries, and unit tests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
