About the Institutional Product Group

Our group develops products for institutional clients, including Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Advanced Trade, Prime Custody, Web3 Wallet, Commerce, and Exchange. These products cover trading, staking, governance, custody, web3 operations, and API integrations.

Prime Product Experiences Team

This team creates complex, user-friendly UIs such as Trading UIs, Transfers Flow, and more, for our institutional clients. We collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to build top-tier experiences. We seek experienced front-end engineers proficient in building UI components, focused on UX, UI performance, testability, and analytics, with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Design secure, reliable services for blockchain integrations and cryptocurrency asset management.
• Develop UI components for mobile and web using TypeScript, React, and React Native, utilizing tools like Linaria, Percy, Storybook, and Figma.
• Create interfaces for digital currency functionalities such as staking and voting.
• Build infrastructural services for secure asset transfer, storage, and transactional operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate vision into actionable roadmaps.
• Foster positive energy and inclusivity in team interactions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years in web app development using JavaScript and React.
• Experience in developing and shipping user-facing features with component-based UI frameworks.
• Knowledge of front-end best practices in performance, security, and usability.
• Experience working closely with designers, engineers, and product managers throughout product lifecycles.
• Ability to write high-quality, tested code that meets customer needs.

Nice to Have

• Experience in finance or security sectors.
• At least 1 year of experience in React Native mobile app development or migrating native apps to React Native.

Compensation and Benefits

Target annual salary: $191,100 CAD, including bonus, equity, and benefits (medical, dental, vision).
