Job summary

Aquatic Informatics, a Veralto company, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and operate AI-enabled predictive analytics products in a remote role from Vancouver, with in-office collaboration optional on Wednesdays.

You will work with cross-functional teams to develop cloud-native services on AWS/Azure, implement frontend in Angular, backend in C#, and lead AI-driven improvements across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years designing, building and operating large-scale cloud-native apps with microservices on AWS/Azure.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (Angular, React, or Vue).
• Strong Microsoft development background (.NET, C#).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Genuine interest in using AI to accelerate software development.
• Hands-on experience with agentic engineering and AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end: requirements, design, implementation, reviews, testing and documentation.
• Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS and Azure that scale with demand.
• Write clean frontend (Angular) and backend (C#) code.
• Champion AI adoption and governance in software development processes.
• Improve testing frameworks and contribute to unit/integration/E2E testing.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to development infrastructure.
