Job summary

Aquatic Informatics is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute to predictive analytics products that process water data at scale. You will collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to design, build, and operate AI-enabled solutions that improve water quality and environmental health.

You will own features end to end, work on cloud-native services on AWS/Azure, and apply AI-driven development practices while ensuring high quality, scalable software.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience designing, building, and operating large-scale, data-intensive, cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Angular, React, or Vue frontend frameworks.
• Strong background in Microsoft development (.NET/C#).
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work on cutting edge applications that detect sensor anomalies and AI-powered analytics.
• Own features end to end: requirements, design, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS and Azure that scale with demand.
• Write clean frontend (Angular) and backend (C#) code.
• Champion AI adoption and governance in the development lifecycle.
