Aquatic Informatics, a Veralto company, is seeking a VP of Software Engineering to lead AQI’s software org and define platform strategy. You will oversee architecture, DevOps, and product alignment while modernizing legacy systems and enabling scalable cloud/on‑prem solutions across Azure and AWS.

Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager, the VP of Software Engineering will lead AQI’s software engineering organization and define the architectural and platform strategy that enables Product’s roadmap. This leader will balance strategic vision with deep technical engagement—knowing when to operate at the executive level and when to get close to the work to unblock teams, challenge assumptions, and accelerate delivery. The VP of Software Engineering will lead engineering, architecture, DevOps, and platform teams to modernize legacy products, scale cloud and on-prem solutions, leverage AI to accelerate development, and deliver high-quality software that helps customers use water data and analytics to improve global water management.
The candidate should based in Vancouver, BC. This role requires approximately 20% travel including travel to Canada and the U.S.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The salary range for this position is $225,000 - $275,000 CAD for candidates based in Canada. This reflects our good‑faith estimate of the expected compensation for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, education and location.
