Job summary

Homebase is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Product team. You will design, build, and maintain features across Scheduling, HRM, and Payroll, shipping reliable production code with a focus on accuracy and end-to-end delivery.

You will lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Data to accelerate learning and impact. The role emphasizes AI-driven workflows, sharp code reviews, and ownership of estimates and delivery in a fast-moving

Qualifications

Experience shipping production software customers depend on.
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Owns estimation, execution, and iterative improvement.
Know when AI creates leverage and when it adds noise, keep human judgment.
Mentor junior engineers and share workflows.

Responsibilities

Lead implementation of components and services, own estimates and delivery.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with PMs, Designers, and Data.
Design, build, and launch features across Scheduling, HRM, and Payroll.
Deliver reliable, testable code with accuracy from hours worked to dollars paid.
