Job summary

BettingJobs is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join a new backend engineering team in Toronto. You will design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET backend services and build real-time data pipelines for integrations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of .NET development, experience with distributed systems and microservices, and familiarity with Kubernetes, Redis, and Azure. You will own critical components and help extend legacy systems while ensuring stability and scalable

Qualifications

• 5+ years of .NET development experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka), REST APIs, gRPC, or WebSockets.
• Proficiency with Redis, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Skilled with observability tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana).
• Comfortable with complex business logic and high ownership roles.
• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
