Job summary

Ballys Canada is seeking a senior software engineer to own Braze as the technical and product SME and to architect robust integrations across player accounts, sportsbook, CRM, data platforms, and third‑party services. You will design data models, lead implementations, and build pipelines to ensure accurate player data, timely communications, and scalable engagement across regulated gaming environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building and integrating production systems.
• 3+ years hands‑on experience with Braze or a comparable customer engagement platform.
• Experience in iGaming, sports betting, casino, or other regulated industries is a strong plus.
• Backend development and integration experience with APIs, webhooks, event‑driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Experience with data warehouses, streaming platforms, CDPs, and mobile/web SDK integrations.
• Proven ability to lead platform implementations, migrations, and integrations from design through production support.
• Experience partnering with CRM, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams as a technical owner.
• Excellent understanding of security, privacy, PII, consent, and compliance in high‑volume consumer environments.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven personalization and engagement is an asset.

• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, consent, and responsible gaming requirements.
• Document architecture, integrations, and runbooks while supporting monitoring and incident response for critical marketing systems.
