Job summary

Jobtailor in Mississauga, Canada, seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable full‑stack apps with an AI‑first approach. You’ll use AI‑assisted tools for coding, debugging, testing, and documentation, and strengthen CI/CD pipelines and automated quality checks.

You’ll collaborate with product, UX, QA, DevOps and customer teams to deliver a high‑quality customer experience, working in Real Estate Tech/SaaS contexts.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven ability to use AI and automation to improve delivery quality and speed.
• Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, REST API, and EF.
• Front-end experience with Angular, React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Expert Microsoft SQL Server experience, including DB design and performance tuning.
• Hands-on Azure, Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Git branching, pull requests, code reviews.
• Commitment to AI-assisted engineering, secure coding, automated testing, maintainability, observability.
• Nice to have: real estate tech, CRM, CMS, SaaS.
• Nice to have: mentoring on AI-first development and automation opportunities.
• Nice to have: automating QA, release management, DevOps, support, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications and platform services with an AI-first approach to engineering productivity
• Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, testing, and code review
• Create automated unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests
• Build and improve automation across CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, pull requests, quality gates, deployments, and operational support
• Troubleshoot production issues using structured diagnostics, automation, observability, and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

• Front-end experience with Angular, React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Expert Microsoft SQL Server experience, including database design, optimization, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and automation of repeatable data and maintenance tasks
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and automated quality checks
• Strong commitment to AI-assisted software engineering, secure coding, automated testing, maintainability, observability, and continuous improvement in a professional development environment
• Nice to have: experience with real estate technology, CRM, CMS, website, mobile application, or SaaS platform environments
• Nice to have: experience mentoring developers on AI-first development habits, automation opportunities, testing discipline, or modern engineering practices
