Job summary

Breezeway, a remote-first property operations platform, is hiring a Senior Software Application Developer to join a customer-facing product team. You’ll work across the full stack with Python/Flask and React to ship features that help thousands of operators run their business and interact with guests and vendors.

You’ll design REST and GraphQL APIs, work with SQLAlchemy ORM, and contribute to AI-assisted workflows, while collaborating with design and product to deliver high-quality end-to-end

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Significant React frontend experience owning a feature end-to-end.
• Strong Python skills, with experience building REST and GraphQL APIs using Flask or similar.
• Proficiency with SQLAlchemy or other ORMs and working with relational data models.
• Experience with Celery or similar, async task queues, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working at a SaaS company.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding and integrating AI APIs.
• React Native or mobile experience (nice to have).

Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Breezeway is hiring a Senior Software Application Developer to join one of our customer-facing product teams. You'll work across the full stack to build and ship features that directly impact how thousands of short-term rental managers and hospitality operators run their businesses and interact with guests, employees, and vendors.

This role is for an engineer with a product-centric mindset, clear communication, and the autonomy to engage with the problem, not the ticket. You'll be expected to collaborate early with the team to ensure alignment and context remain high.

What You'll Do

Compensation

• Salary: $120,000–$155,000 CAD, based on experience
