This contract/full-time position demands a strategic safety leader with deep construction safety knowledge, strong regulatory familiarity, and the ability to drive continuous improvement on complex projects within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7–10 years of construction safety experience (or Nuclear).
• NCSO designation strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of OHSA and applicable regulations.
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to influence and drive safety culture on complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of site-specific safety programs.
• Oversee inspections, audits, and compliance activities.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Site Safety Officer to lead safety efforts on a project in Port Hope. This role requires a seasoned professional who can take ownership of site safety, provide leadership, and act as a trusted advisor to both clients and project teams.
