Senior Site Reliability Engineering Job Requirements

The Sr Cloud Engineer/Sr Site Reliability Engineer is a member of the Cloud Operations Automation team, responsible for the reliability, security, and efficiency of Change Healthcare’s cloud environments and products that comprise Enterprise Imaging solutions. The engineer will also participate in Cloud Operations activities including continuous delivery, configuration changes, performance monitoring, and ensuring high availability of systems. The engineer will lead incident management processes, including triaging and resolution of incidents.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Work as a software tools developer in the cloud operations team
2. Define and drive automation of cloud operations and deployment using various toolsets
3. Define and implement Cloud Operations procedures
4. Design and implement reliable cloud infrastructure
5. Provide 24×7 shift-based support with rotating on-call duties

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in automation and administration of IT systems, including compute resources, network, storage, and access control using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
• 5+ years of proven experience in managing cloud infrastructure and deployed applications for enterprise SaaS or PaaS in public clouds such as GCP (preferred), AWS, or Azure
• 2+ years of programming experience in Python, Node.js, or similar platforms
• 2+ years of experience managing Kubernetes environments using Terraform
• 2+ years of experience managing Kubernetes and serverless environments via cloud infrastructure APIs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent certification
• Knowledge of cloud networking, security, centralized logging, and monitoring tools
• Solid foundation in Linux/Windows OS and tools
• Proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, and Ansible
