Job summary

Moderna is seeking a Senior Manager, Site Budgets & Contracts to lead the generation and review of investigator site budgets for IGs using Grants Manager. This role collaborates with GCO, CROs, and Clinical Operations to support site activation and budget execution during SSU, ensuring timely activation across programs.

With 5+ years in site budget creation and negotiations, you will leverage Grants Manager/GrantPlan and FMV data to inform budgeting decisions, while driving cross-functional

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ direct experience in global investigator site budget creation and negotiations.
• Experience with GrantManager/GrantPlan and familiarity with CTA template negotiations.
• Strong financial analysis and ability to justify budgets.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; able to manage high volumes of data.
• Experience in CRO oversight of CTA/budget negotiations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and oversee site budgets for multiple trials within designated therapeutic areas.
• Provide budget oversight and strategic planning to Clinical Operations teams.
• Use IG reference data and FMV benchmarks to establish budget estimates.
• Lead FMV-based budget parameters for CRO models and negotiations.
• Act as main contact for CRO budgets and ensure global consistency.
• Monitor CTA/budget negotiations and align with FMV and GCP principles.
• Collaborate with CRO and Legal/Contracts on CTA/CSA templates.
• Track KPIs for site activation and timelines; participate in trial team meetings.
• Lead amendments to site contracts and budgets; identify risks and escalate.
• Contribute to development of departmental processes and SOPs.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
