Job summary

Pearl West is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer (Shopify Expert) to design and optimize advanced Shopify apps, improve performance, and implement custom integrations. You will work on checkout enhancements, API connections, and feature development for premium Shopify brands.

This full-time role offers flexible work setup (remote, hybrid or in-office), collaboration with ecommerce professionals, and a chance to impact conversion rates and user experiences across multiple stores.

Qualifications

• Custom Shopify App development using Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with third-party APIs, webhooks, and Shopify Flow automation.
• Performance optimization focusing on Core Web Vitals, site speed, and SEO.
• Front-end skills in React, Vue.js, or Alpine.js for Shopify experiences.
• Checkout customization using Shopify Scripts and Checkout Extensibility.

Responsibilities

• Enhance checkout and cart functionality across Shopify stores.
• Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps and API integrations.
• Improve site performance and Core Web Vitals.
