Job summary

Bed Bath & Beyond Canada is seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer for our E-Commerce team. You will build and optimize enterprise storefronts, integrate with ERP/PIM/OMS systems, and ensure secure checkout workflows with PCI-DSS compliance.

You will design API integrations, improve site performance, track data with GA4/GTM, and collaborate on promotional pages and A/B tests to boost conversions. A strong UX/UI focus and Shopify expertise are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer
• Experience in responsive web design and mobile optimization
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and Shopify CLI toolchains
• Proven experience implementing server-side tracking, custom GA4/GTM data layers, and third-party marketing pixels
• Working knowledge of enterprise ERP/PIM/OMS system integrations using REST, GraphQL, and webhooks
• Experience working with high-volume Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) or enterprise retail brands is an asset
• Excellent understanding of UX/UI design principles
• Ideal candidate would have official Shopify Developer certifications
• Familiarity with network, server, and web application security principles and best practices is an asset

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize custom themes, storefront components, and app integrations on enterprise platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus).
• Design, build, and maintain robust API integrations between the online store and enterprise back-end systems (ERP, PIM, WMS, OMS).
• Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals, page load speeds, and technical efficiency using best practices.
• Implement and manage web tracking infrastructure (GA4, GTM) and third-party marketing pixels.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to design, build, and deploy A/B test variations and promotional landing pages.
• Ensure UI/UX is responsive and WCAG 2.1 AA compliant; uphold accessibility and SEO principles.
• Conduct regular site maintenance, security audits, plugin testing, and updates; diagnose defects and data sync errors.
• Work with JavaScript/ES6+, Liquid/HTML/CSS, REST/GraphQL, Node.js and modern frameworks.
• Support seasonal campaigns and feature launches with cross-functional teams.
• Perform multi-device and cross-browser testing and post-deployment monitoring.
