Job summary

Canadian Babbitt Bearings Ltd. in Cambridge, Ontario, is seeking a Senior Shipper / Receiver to lead daily shipping, receiving, staging and documentation in our heavy manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate carriers, verify records and support inventory accuracy while working under the Shop Foreman. The role requires hands-on supervision of oversized and high-value shipments, forklift operations, and safe work practices, with a focus on timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in progressive shipping and receiving in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Experience coordinating oversized/non-standard shipments and complex loads.
• Strong knowledge of bills of lading, invoices, POs, packing slips, and shipping docs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily shipping and receiving for oversized and high-value components.
• Coordinate carriers for inbound and outbound shipments, including time-sensitive deliveries.
• Oversee safe operation of shipping equipment (forklifts, cranes) and maintain records.
• Verify shipment information against docs and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Act as primary contact for carriers, production teams, customers and management.
• Support inventory accuracy through staging and discrepancy communication.
