Job summary

McKesson is seeking a Senior ServiceNow AI Engineer to deliver AI-powered, enterprise-scale solutions that improve healthcare operations and employee experiences. You will design, build, and deploy integrations, AI workflows, and secure services in a cloud-native, API-first environment.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to standards, and work in a primarily remote or hybrid setting with periodic in-office collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, enterprise platforms, or automation technologies.
• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Experience developing enterprise applications using JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, APIs, and integration technologies.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled, automation, workflow, or intelligent platform solutions.
• Experience building and supporting REST APIs, web services, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy enterprise-scale ServiceNow and AI-powered solutions.
• Develop intelligent workflows using AI Agents, Now Assist, Virtual Agent, and automation capabilities.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, integrations, and reusable platform services.
• Translate solution designs into secure, scalable, production-ready implementations.
• Drive cloud-native, API-first, and automation-focused engineering practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, testing automation, platform reliability, and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and innovation initiatives.
