Job summary

A renewable energy company in Halifax is seeking a Sr. Service Technician to join their service team. The candidate will be responsible for commissioning and maintaining advanced energy storage systems. Required qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience in a service environment. Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in a service environment.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems.
• Ability to travel to various project sites (over 50% of the time).

Responsibilities

• Commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block equipment.
• Provide diagnostic and hands-on support for equipment maintenance.
• Supervise sub-contractors on site when required.
