Job summary

A leading renewable energy company is seeking a Sr. Service Technician to join their Nova Scotia team. This role involves commissioning and maintaining energy storage systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and providing hands-on support for equipment. Ideal candidates will possess strong mechanical skills, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and a commitment to sustainability. This position emphasizes teamwork and a culture of safety and innovation, contributing to a cleaner and greener future.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a service environment, preferably in renewable energy.
  • OSHA 30 Certified (OSHA 10 certification accepted if OSHA 30 is obtained soon after hire).
  • Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and Energy Storage system applications is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Commission CSI Energy Storage’s SolBank Storage Power Block.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements.
  • Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maintain equipment and meet availability guarantees.
