Job summary

The Field Service Supervisor at e-STORAGE, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, leads the Service team to commission and maintain SolBank Storage Power Block systems across project sites in the US region. This role oversees Senior Service and Service Technicians, ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance and LTSA obligations are met.

Candidates should have an engineering background, at least 5 years in service in renewable energy, and be willing to travel; knowledge of BESS and high/medium

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in service, preferably in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems, and energy storage applications.
• Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and operate in a fast-paced environment with ownership.
• Ability to travel and be on site during construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to meet warranty requirements.
• Provide onsite diagnostics, troubleshooting, and hands-on support to maximize availability and capacity.
• Support the Senior Service and Service Technicians in daily tasks.
• Follow proper LOTO and switching procedures as required.
• Fulfill LTSA obligations for BESS equipment (Energy Storage Cabinets, Power Conversion Stations, Ring Main Units, Transformers and SCADA).
• Support client training during commissioning.
• Analyze performance data to determine root cause and performance trends.
