Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Toronto is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to lead design and implementation of enterprise‑wide CMDB/ITAM solutions across the organization. You will translate complex requirements into scalable, high‑performing platform initiatives while upholding development best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent years of experience as a Technical Analyst.
  • 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience with configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL with in‑depth technical understanding across hardware and software platforms.
  • Experience in IT development, support, and implementation roles with strong knowledge of ITSM processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and deadline‑driven, results‑oriented mindset with commitment to high‑quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop ServiceNow platform solutions including workflows, UI design, business rules, and access controls to support ITAM processes.
  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and internal/external systems using APIs, orchestration, and data synchronization tools.
  • Analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and provide time estimates for small to large projects and ongoing maintenance work.
  • Implement and manage automated workflows using ServiceNow Orchestration to drive operational efficiency.
  • Lead deployment activities across non‑production and production environments while adhering to SDLC standards.
  • Identify performance issues, analyze root causes, and implement enhancements to optimize system performance.
  • Document technical solutions, build artifacts, and runbooks to support knowledge transfer and operational support.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with ITSM leads, architects, and stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and processes.

Job Description

The IT Asset Management team is modernizing asset management and technology lifecycle management processes across the company through strategic ServiceNow platform enhancements. As a ServiceNow Developer, you'll lead the technical design and implementation of enterprise‑wide CMDB/ITAM solutions that streamline operations, improve service delivery, and strengthen our technology governance. You'll collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to translate complex requirements into scalable, high‑performing solutions while maintaining development excellence and best practices.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
  • University or College degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience as a Technical Analyst
  • 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience with demonstrated expertise in configuration, customization, and integration
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL with in‑depth technical understanding across hardware and software platforms
  • Experience in IT development, support, and implementation roles with strong knowledge of ITSM processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and deadline‑driven, results‑oriented mindset with commitment to high‑quality standards
Nice‑to‑have
  • ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator/Application Developer certification
  • Prior experience in financial services or large‑scale enterprise environments
