Role Overview

The Senior Service Advisor manages customer service interactions, prepares and revises quotes for Class 8 tractor and straight truck repairs, schedules repairs, maintains communication with customers, and coordinates equipment return. You will leverage your knowledge of commercial truck maintenance to ensure accurate quoting, scheduling, and customer updates, working closely with internal teams to optimize resource use and meet customer promises.

Responsibilities

• Quote repairs and maintenance for Class 8 tractors, trucks, and trailers using company procedures.
• Schedule repairs and coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Triaging equipment upon arrival, updating quotes as needed.
• Pre-order parts and manage work order processes to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain ongoing communication with customers regarding repair status.
• Close work orders within 24-48 hours of completion.
• Adhere to company SOPs, SWIs, and work flows, supporting safety and quality standards.
• Support team operations, including yard repairs and administrative duties.

Key Performance Metrics

• Close work orders within 1-2 business days post-repair.
• Maintain quote accuracy with 110% efficiency.
• Update customer promise dates twice daily.
• Triaging equipment within 24 hours of arrival.

Qualifications

• Experience and certification as Licensed 310T preferred.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as Service Advisor in a major OEM service center.
• Customer service training and experience.

Skills

• Proficiency in quoting repairs, customer service, VMRS coding, multitasking, and working in high-paced environments.
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
