Job Description

• Repair critical electrical equipment, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and complete projects such as mechanical and electrical hardware and software upgrades.
• Repair or replace control devices such as switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, contactors, motor starters, thermocouples, etc.
• Make PLC program changes, installations, or updates to ensure proper operations.
• Detect, troubleshoot, and repair malfunctions in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings for conveyors, machines, and buildings.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery, including conveyors and cranes.
• Address facilities maintenance issues as needed.
• Practice good housekeeping and time management.
• Comply with Electrical Safety Authority regulations.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Related electrical maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Certification as an Industrial Electrician (442A) or Construction Electrician (309A).
• Strong background in PLC maintenance.
• Experience with cranes, conveyors, pneumatics, and hydraulics is an asset.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings, especially electrical diagrams.
