Clever Digital Marketing in Canada is seeking an SEM Manager to oversee a portfolio of clients and scale our PPC efforts. You will drive campaigns across Google, Bing, GDN, and YouTube, focusing on profitable growth and step changes in performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in PPC, manages large monthly budgets, and thrives in a data-driven, autonomous environment. We offer remote work with occasional Vaughan office collaboration and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• 4+ years of PPC performance marketing experience.
• Managed budgets of $500,000+/mo in Google Ads.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Google Ads.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation.
• Preference: Google Ads campaigns for home improvement companies.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day campaign management with data-driven optimizations.
• Manage monthly budget pacing to hit targets.
• Lead campaigns across Google, Bing, GDN, and YouTube.
• Identify opportunities to scale high-performers and improve underperformers.
• Use analytics to guide budget allocation and targeting strategies.
• Lead account audits to plan restructures and expansions.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in paid search.
• Mentor Analysts and Coordinators to improve outcomes.
• Create robust A/B testing frameworks for optimization.
• Assist with reporting insights and ensure high-quality deliverables.
