Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Auth0 Security Engineering organization. You will build and operate platform security services that safeguard the Auth0 platform, while expanding security controls and architecting scalable workflows.

You will work with Python, Node.js, or Golang to deliver secure, observable services and data pipelines at scale, contributing to a high-assurance, multi-cloud environment with modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mastery of Python, Node.js, or Golang.
• Strong track record designing scalable, secure software architectures.
• 5+ years building production-grade software services.
• Cloud-native environments (AWS or Azure) and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with high-throughput streaming platforms or log processing tools (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub, Vector).
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Policy-as-Code tools.
• Interest in applying AI/ML tools to automate security workflows and analysis.
• Familiarity with compliance standards (FedRAMP, SOC2) in multi-cloud contexts.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and operate platform security services and controls using Python, Node.js, or Golang.
• Design, build, and optimize custom workflows to ingest, process, and distribute security data at scale.
• Architect maintainable, secure, and resilient microservices and platform integrations.
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code while driving designs and code reviews.
