Okta is hiring a full-time engineer in Toronto, Canada, focusing on scalable identity solutions for enterprise SaaS apps. You’ll work on both frontend and backend services, delivering secure authentication flows and smooth user experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage Docker and cloud platforms, and contribute to resilient, maintainable systems with emphasis on security and performance. This role offers remote work options and competitive benefits.

• We work in NodeJS (JavaScript and TypeScript) and use PostgreSQL for our data needs. Our services run on AWS and Azure and we lean heavily on containers for both our development and production needs

• Collaborate with engineers both inside and outside the team to design and deliver powerful new enterprise functionality for our SaaS customers - both for the login flow itself and for Auth0's direct and self-service management capabilities
• Every now and then, help drive improvements to shared stacks of functionality - such as our internal tooling for interactive testing of the product
• Develop technical improvements to our codebase and architecture
