Island Health in Victoria, BC is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst, Security Operations to join the IM/IT team. Your expertise plays a critical role as a senior technical resource primarily supporting the delivery of operational security tools and technologies for Island Health.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized degree/diploma in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Five years of recent experience administering security technologies (SIEMs, IPS, vulnerability scanners).

Responsibilities

• Manage, integrate, and support Island Health's security operations tools daily.
• Provide guidance to the security operations team and lead changes and upgrades.
• Contribute to incident response, forensics, and ITIL-based change processes.
