About The Role

Join Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Advisor Senior, Incident response!

What You'll Do Here

• Ensure optimal triage of security alerts while participating in the escalation and eradication of cybersecurity incidents within established deadlines.
• Discover irregularities, investigate advanced cyber events and provide third-level support in investigations as well as confirmed incidents when required.
• Participate in the cybersecurity incident lifecycle, from preparation to post-mortem.
• Ensure optimal coverage by reviewing detection rules, proposing improvements and/or new rules according to the organization's operational context.
• Participate in the creation, enhancement, review and maintenance of documentation in accordance with the organization's standards.
• Work in collaboration with the various internal teams on the different projects and initiatives as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), when required.
• Respond to user queries related to cybersecurity.
• Participate in 24/7 support rotation in collaboration with other team members.
  
  

What You Bring To The Table

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, system security management or other relevant experience.
• Five to eight years of experience in information security (cybersecurity), ideally with Microsoft technology stack
• Expert in the basic principles of security incident management.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding team spirit.
• Initiative, self-reliance.
• Attention to detail and skilled communicator.
• Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge.
• Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
• Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
