Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a Senior SDET Engineer for a long-term contract in Toronto, ON. The role is hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) within the Banking vertical.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years IT experience, strong SDET and automation skills in Java or Python, and hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium and relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.

Employment Type: Long term Contract

Hybrid : 4 days office , 1 day work from home

Location: Toronto, ON

Key Responsibilities

• 10+ years of overall IT experience.
• Strong experience working as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test).
• Extensive hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium automation frameworks.
• Good experience working with databases such as SQL Server or Oracle, or similar relational databases.
• Understanding of test design, test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
