Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in Toronto, ON is seeking an SDET Engineer for a long-term contract. The role is hybrid—4 days in office per week, with the option for collaboration across teams.

You will lead automation efforts using Python, Selenium, and Robot Framework while developing robust test frameworks; API/UI automation; and contributing to Agile, CI/CD practices in a cloud-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Proficient in Python (preferred), Java or C#.
• Experience with Robot Framework, pytest, behave, and Selenium.
• Has developed test automation frameworks.
• Experience in API and UI automation.
• Familiar with Agile, CI/CD/CT and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
• Experience with relational and non-relational data stores (SQL, MongoDB, Postgres).

Job Title: SDET Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 4 days a week in office)

Mode of interview: Final-round in-person interview

Duration: Long-Term Contract

• Experience with Automated Testing (7+ years)
• Ability to code and read a programming language. Python(preferred), Java, C#
• Must have Experience in Robot Framework, pytest, behave, Selenium (Python)
• Must have developed test automation frameworks
• Experience in API automation (must), UI automation
• Knowledge and working experience in Agile methodologies
• Experience in CI/CD/CT methodology
• Experience in Test methodologies (4+ years)
• Familiarity with Azure/AWS (preferred) or any cloud service(acceptable)
• Familiarity with testing and interacting with Data Stores (both relational and non-relational): SQL, MongoDB, Postgres
