Dutch Vet is transforming veterinary care by making expert treatment accessible anytime, anywhere. We’re the only veterinary telemedicine service that can diagnose, prescribe, and ship medications directly to customers in most states.

For less than $100 per year, Dutch offers real relief and convenience for pets and their families. We are seeking an SDET to own test infrastructure and quality strategy across our applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a software engineering or SDET role.
• Experience building test frameworks from scratch (Playwright preferred).
• Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript for framework code.
• Experience designing CI/CD test pipelines with GitHub Actions or CircleCI.
• Knowledge of the testing pyramid and test layering.
• Experience partnering with developers on testability standards.
• Familiarity with API testing and mocking third-party integrations.
• Experience with mobile test automation (Maestro or Appium) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Playwright-based test framework architecture.
• Drive testability standards with data-testid and API hooks.
• Own testing strategy across unit, integration, and E2E layers.
• Build and maintain tiered CI pipelines: smoke, regression, full suite.
• Automate revenue- and marketing-critical flows (checkout, analytics).
• Write production monitoring tests for availability (Stripe, Calendly...).
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and support on requirements.
