Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a Senior Scheduler - Infrastructure to join a project team delivering large infrastructure work in the GTA, Ontario.

You will develop and maintain detailed schedules with Primavera P6, coordinate with construction plans, monitor progress, and contribute to project controls.

This role requires 7+ years of scheduling experience in heavy civil construction, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of scheduling experience in general contracting or construction environments.
• Experience supporting heavy civil infrastructure projects (transportation, transit, rail, or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling software.
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting, resource planning, and schedule analysis.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, project delivery processes, and field operations.
• Ability to analyze complex information, identify risks, and communicate solutions effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all phases are planned and integrated.
• Collaborate with project teams to align schedules with construction plans, milestones, and objectives.
• Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify delays or constraints.
• Work with project leadership to develop recovery plans and corrective actions when required.
• Prepare schedule updates, progress reports, dashboards, and narratives for internal teams and stakeholders.
• Support project controls activities including earned value reporting, manpower forecasting, resource planning, and cash flow analysis.
• Conduct schedule risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts.
• Track changes, maintain accurate schedule records, and communicate updates effectively.
• Support resource planning by analyzing labour, equipment, and material requirements to meet milestones.
