Job summary

TEEMA Group seeks an experienced Project Manager for a SAP S/4HANA upgrade in Montreal. You will lead the end-to-end upgrade lifecycle, align plans with global program objectives, and drive risk management across IT and business teams.

The role requires strong SAP Activate knowledge, extensive experience in supply chain/manufacturing domains, and a track record in regulated environments with multiple vendors and partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP project management experience.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA upgrade projects (e.g., 2020/2021 to 2023+).
• Deep working knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology.
• Strong experience in Supply Chain and Manufacturing modules.
• History of managing projects in highly regulated enterprise environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple third-party suppliers and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and resources aligned with global program objectives.
• Establish and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
• Ensure strict adherence to SAP Activate methodology and internal governance procedures.
• Lead all phases of the SAP S/4HANA upgrade lifecycle: Preparation, Sandbox, Development, QA, Testing, Cutover/Go-Live.
• Plan and oversee integrated testing phases including validation, regression, and performance testing.
• Coordinate cutover and production deployment activities to ensure continuous operations.
• Manage formal change control processes.
• Act as the primary liaison between IT, business process leads, SAP consultants, BASIS, and external suppliers.
• Coordinate multiple external vendors and implementation partners within a global program structure.
• Prepare and present progress reports, KPIs, risks, and strategic decisions to executive management.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project-related risks.
• Enforce regulatory and compliance standards throughout project execution.
• Drive change management, end-user training, and project documentation.
• Direct post-go-live stabilization and hypercare activities.
