Arc’teryx Equipment seeks a Senior SAP ERP FC – Distribution & Transportation to design and deploy SAP S4 Logistics solutions. You will work with project and operational teams to align business needs with SAP functions, leveraging EWM, CAR, IBP and ECC AFS in a North Vancouver hybrid setup.

The role requires 8+ years in SAP development, 6+ years in distribution/transport, and strong collaboration with stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in SAP system development and sustenance.
• 6+ years of experience with distribution and transportation business processes, ideally in retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear or similar.
• 6+ years of functional experience in SAP Logistics and EWM.
• Experience implementing SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFS.
• Knowledge of SAP integration with automated warehouse solutions and 3PLs.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Our operating environment is SAP S4/Hana Fashion and Vertical Business Solution, which is connected to SAP EWM, CAR, IBP and ECC AFS.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The ERP and Business Applications department is comprised of a team of technical professionals and subject matter experts who know and understand the tools that we use to support the business. We strategically define business cases, prioritize projects, and deliver ERP and Commercial projects, ensuring that dependencies are mapped out and sequenced to deliver the overall technology roadmap. Together, we host, manage, and improve a range of technical tools for all aspects of design, business, finance, logistics, global sales, and many other heroes within the organization.

If you were the Senior SAP ERP FC – Distribution & Transportation now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

• Following documentation, best-practice and change management standards within Arc’teryx


• Coordinating and executing Change Requests from Process design through Functional Specifications and Implementation, including coordination of resource partners for end-to-end process coverage


• Maintaining ongoing collaboration with business stakeholders and peers to gather and interpret user/system requirements, pain points and process issues


• Developing and maintaining prioritization of change requests


• Leading stakeholders in detailed business process blueprint activities to create blueprints and use cases/user stories


• Preparing detailed functional specifications for development activities including workflows, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms


• Executing unit testing, functional testing, and system integration testing is completed to Arc’teryx standards


• Ensuring 2nd/3rd level support and liaising with key users to troubleshoot and resolve issues


• Participating in the development and review of training materials, and taking part in training delivery where required for new releases of SAP or in cases of changes and enhancements in SAP functionality


• Maintaining updated knowledge on SAP best-practices, roadmap and technologies to provide informed architectural and design decisions

• Looking for ways to automate and reduce non value added tasks


• Partnering with our Sourcing, Omnichannel and Finance teams on deliverables

Are you our next Senior SAP ERP FC – Distribution & Transportation?

• You have a degree or technical diploma, with 8+ years’ experience in SAP System development and sustainment, or the equivalent experience


• You have 6+ years of recent experience with distribution and transportation business processes, ideally in the world of retail, wholesale, fashion, footwear or similar


• You have 6+ years of functional experience in SAP Logistics and EWM


• You have a background in implementing SAP S4 and/or SAP FMS, SAP AFS


• You have knowledge of SAP integration with automated warehouse solutions and 3PLs, and you may have experience with SAP GTS or Ship ERP as an additional asset


• You are an excellent collaborator while also able to work effectively with a team


• You are comfortable facilitating content and product solutions to all levels of leadership


• You are adaptable and forward thinking


• You are able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines


• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills


• You are able to travel internationally as required


• You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions

Compensation: The salary range for this role is CAD$126,000 - CAD$165,000
