Arc'teryx North Vancouver seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead scalable data architectures and mentor engineers. You will design, implement, and optimize data platforms using Azure Databricks and PySpark, aligning with governance and security standards.
You will collaborate with the Supply Chain Analytics Squad to translate business needs into robust technical solutions, champion data mesh principles, and evaluate new tools while guiding migrations to cloud-native architectures.
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data architectures that drive critical business decisions across the organization. You'll architect scalable data solutions, optimize performance of data systems, and be a technical leader who mentors other engineers.
You’ll leverage your deep expertise in data engineering to solve complex challenges while driving best practices and innovation. You'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, lead architectural decisions, and ensure our data infrastructure scales with business needs. Your influence will extend beyond your immediate team as you help shape our data engineering culture and practices.
This position is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid, remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
The Supply Chain Analytics Squad builds and maintains data pipelines that power analytics and drive data-informed decision-making for our supply chain partners. We work in an agile, collaborative environment with data platform, architect, ERP, and technology teams to develop scalable analytics solutions. Our work includes integrating new data sources, performing complex transformations, enhancing data quality, and delivering dashboards and data products tailored to business needs.
The salary range for this role is CAD$94,000 - CAD$124,000

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
