Role Overview
As a Senior SAP SD-LE Specialist, you will maintain, optimize, and support the organization's SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments across North American manufacturing plants. Working alongside cross-functional, global teams, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions—handling end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and EDI troubleshooting.
Main Responsibilities
- Support North American manufacturing plant operations, specifically focusing on Sales, Logistics Execution (LE), and RF shipping solutions.
- Troubleshoot EDI messages (IDocs, ANSI X12, EDIFACT) including 830, 862, 850, 856, 824, and 997, collaborating directly with the B2B team.
- Support SAP standard/custom labeling outputs and shipping output conditions.
- Gather business requirements and author detailed Functional Specifications for the ABAP development team.
- Configure SAP modules (SD, LE, TRA, JIT/JIS) to align with business demands and drive optimal performance.
- Manage end-to-end system testing, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Provide remote, on-demand support for SAP implementations and resolve day-to-day user tickets.
- Maintain data integrity, security policies, and compliance across master data (BP/Customer, Material) and operational workflows.
Must Haves
- Experience: 9+ years in SAP Sales & Logistics Execution operations (Demand Management, Scheduling Agreements, Sales Orders, Outbound Deliveries, Handling Units, Shipments).
- EDI Expertise: 5+ years of hands-on experience with IDocs, ANSI X12, and EDIFACT standards.
- Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of Customer-Material Info Records (CMIR), Pricing Conditions, EDI Partner Configuration, Backflush, and MRP.
- Systems: Hands-on experience across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Fiori environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Communication: Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.

- Ability to read and understand ABAP code.
- SAP Certified Application Associate or relevant SAP certifications.
- Automotive manufacturing or tier-1 supplier domain experience.
