Duration: 6+ months of Contract with possible extension of hire

Location: Toronto, ON

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in support of business requirements.
2. Handle application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, and assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new features or updates to existing applications.
3. Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
4. Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code following best practices.
5. Identify bugs and troubleshoot issues during debugging.
6. Test bug fixes to ensure they meet requirements before deploying to production.
7. Create or modify existing controllers, controller extensions, and triggers across all Salesforce platforms.
8. Apply best practices and design patterns for applications developed on the Salesforce.com platform.
