The GWMS CRM team is the Salesforce Centre of Excellence for Scotiabank, responsible for 10 Salesforce Orgs across multiple lines of Business, with plans for expansion. We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to support existing initiatives and develop future Business-Technology roadmaps.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

• Collaborate with senior leaders to design long-term Business-Technology roadmaps for Salesforce orgs.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide Salesforce strategy.
• Lead multiple enterprise Salesforce platform implementations.
• Support QA processes with cross-team collaboration.
• Establish and enforce governance for Salesforce implementations.
• Be proficient with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Integration Patterns.
• Have experience with middleware products like Talend, Jitterbit, Informatica, Mulesoft, etc.
• Be familiar with integrating Salesforce via REST and SOAP APIs.
• Experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud.
• Possess strong communication and leadership skills.

Skills

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least 5 years of Salesforce platform experience and 10+ years in enterprise systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience with Salesforce Lightning Components and Aura Framework.
• Experience with deployment tools like Jenkins, Git, Salesforce DX.
• Understanding of package deployments, Metadata API, and Ant.
• Hands-on experience with Data Loader, Data Stage, Talend, Mulesoft.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Ability to analyze failures and create detailed error reports.
• Experience working in agile teams using SCRUM or Kanban.

Education and Certifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least two Salesforce certifications such as Developer 1, Developer 2, Platform App Builder, Administrator, Architect, or Sales Cloud Consultant.
