The Role

The primary focus of the Salesforce Developer within the Sales Operations team is to create and support Salesforce initiatives.

You will work on implementing Salesforce-based solutions with a diverse team of developers, designers, Salesforce Administrators, and stakeholders. You will be building processes, functions, and system integrations within an agile framework to enable Info-Tech employees to work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, implement, and support functionalities within Salesforce using programming languages and development tools.
• Participate in an agile software development framework. Assist in resource estimation and project timelines. Address and resolve potential roadblocks.
• Partner with Designers, Developers, and Product Owners to define specifications and gather requirements.
• Research and prototype solutions for integration with Salesforce and other applications.
• Mentor team members and conduct code reviews.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Design and build high-performance, reusable, and reliable Apex code following best practices.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Application Development, or Information Technology is an asset. Must possess a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.

Experience

• Deep knowledge of SFDC capabilities, custom code (Apex, Triggers, Flows, Lightning Web Components, Platform Events), and system integrations.
• Proficiency in debugging Apex, Flows, Lightning Components, VisualForce, SOQL, APIs.
• Understanding of SDLC, system architecture, and integration.
• Experience with reports, dashboards, custom objects, fields, automation, and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience with data migration tools and version control systems.

Nice to Have

• Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Salesforce Platform Developer II certifications.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and analytical thinking.
• Ability to assess impact of requirements on Salesforce and related systems.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Experience in designing and implementing new processes and fostering user adoption.
• Intermediate knowledge of Salesforce platform features and data management.
