Job summary

Tamanna Technology seeks an experienced Salesforce Senior Business Systems Analyst / Data Migration Specialist to drive data transformation between Salesforce and the surrounding ecosystem, including DataStage, Snowflake, and Tableau. The role requires strong business-facing skills, data analysis, and migration planning to move data from legacy systems to target platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as Salesforce business systems analyst, data analyst, or data migration specialist.
• Experience in end-to-end data migration / system conversion projects.
• Excellent requirements elicitation and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of source-to-target mapping, transformation, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation.
• Proficient SQL and analytical skills.
• Experience with Salesforce, Snowflake, IBM DataStage, Tableau is a plus.
• Understanding of reporting dependencies and downstream data impacts.
• Ability to articulate data constraints, risks, and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand processes, data usage, and reporting needs.
• Lead requirements gathering and facilitate discussions between business and technology teams.
• Analyze source/target systems to map data structures, relationships, and constraints.
• Define and document source-to-target mappings, business rules, and migration requirements.
• Identify data quality issues and plan remediation with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis and profiling using SQL and related tools.
• Collaborate with data engineers/ETL teams on migration and transformation activities.
• Support data reconciliation and validation after migration.
• Define business acceptance criteria and assist SIT/UAT and post-migration validation.
• Analyze downstream impacts of migrated data, especially Tableau reporting.
