Getting to know the Role:

What's it really like to be a Senior Sales Engineer at MT?

You’re independent yet deeply collaborative, balancing travel to client sites (~two weeks per month) with strategic planning from your home office. Every week, you’ll solve new technical puzzles, connecting MT’s innovative solutions directly with client goals.

Qualifications You'll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Metallurgy, Mechanical, or related). Advanced degrees are a plus.
  • Experience: 5+ years’ successful technical sales in mineral processing, mining equipment, or related industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Expertise in iron ore (Canada) or familiarity with mineral sands and coal processing (U.S.).
  • Relationships: Established industry network in regional mining operations.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness and capability to travel regularly, including visits to remote mine sites.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and proven track record managing complex, technical sales cycles.
